Why throw away old helicopter parts when you can convert them into lightweight stools? After all, plenty of people are turning aircraft into stylish home furnishings.
Anyway, these Recycling Design Stools ($700) are made from lightweight aluminium from old helicopter tail booms. When we say lightweight, we mean just a shade over a kilo; amazingly, these stools can hold up to 145 kg.
