Review: Graydon All Over Soap

Minimalist in the shower? No patience for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a million other ingredients when it comes to scrubbing your hide? Good news: you can replace it all with Graydon All Over Soap ($17).

All Over Soap, as the name implies, can be used anywhere on your body, beard included (I tested that thoroughly). It’s SLS free, gluten free, artificial dye free, paraben free, phthalate free, and, finally, free of artificial scents. It does smell of tea tree oil (as they do make All Over Soap with natural essential oils), and when I stepped out of the shower I smelled vaguely of a spa. Aside from essential oils, All Over Soap contains water, a coconut-based cleansing ingredient called coco glucoside, citric acid, rosemary botanical extract, and grapefruit seed extract. In case, you know, the ladies ask.

One other pretty useful thing about All Over Soap: it’s safe to use in the lake or ocean, so you can pack it the next time you’re canoeing and be thankful that you won’t spend the trip smelling like moss.
