Toronto’s J.Crew Eaton Centre Now Open

J.Crew, that preppy retailer from the US known for its iconic catalogues and cross-border shopping, opens its first downtown Toronto store today – one that finally features a dedicated shop for men.

In the simple but sophisticated setting that is the nearly 9,000 square-foot store (more than half is designated for the ladies, but guys are certainly no afterthought) the clothes are the highlight.

We’re talking classics (dark, slim cut denim, plaid shirts and cashmere V-neck sweaters in an array of cool colours for fall); an abundance of autumn essentials (think canvas coats and vests, utility sweatshirts and the trusty Oxford); as well as slim-cut suits, and everything else you need to clean up nice for the work week. It’s all here.

J.Crew gets it too. That’s where the brand’s signature service comes into play. No time, no problem.

Simply call ahead to arrange an appointment (they’ll even open the store early or close late if need be) or simply show up and ask to meet with a Very Personal Stylist. The service is absolutely free and no minimum spend is expected.
