You could probably use a handsome new suit.
A personal stylist wouldn’t hurt either.
Nothing complicated. Just a little expert advice from someone who knows how things should fit and can quickly put an assortment of looks together.
Help has arrived.
J.Crew, that preppy retailer from the US known for its iconic catalogues and cross-border shopping, opens its first downtown Toronto store today – one that finally features a dedicated shop for men.
In the simple but sophisticated setting that is the nearly 9,000 square-foot store (more than half is designated for the ladies, but guys are certainly no afterthought) the clothes are the highlight.
We’re talking classics (dark, slim cut denim, plaid shirts and cashmere V-neck sweaters in an array of cool colours for fall); an abundance of autumn essentials (think canvas coats and vests, utility sweatshirts and the trusty Oxford); as well as slim-cut suits, and everything else you need to clean up nice for the work week. It’s all here.
But we get it. You’re busy. In what little free time you have, the mall doesn’t exactly top your to-do list.
J.Crew gets it too. That’s where the brand’s signature service comes into play. No time, no problem.
Simply call ahead to arrange an appointment (they’ll even open the store early or close late if need be) or simply show up and ask to meet with a Very Personal Stylist. The service is absolutely free and no minimum spend is expected.
“It’s all about making our guys life as easy as possible,” explains Frank Muytjens, the head of men’s design.
Easy, effortless style is the hallmark of J.Crew and they’ve delivered it in spades at the new Toronto store. We expect it to quickly become a destination for guys looking for modern, yet classic, casualwear, suiting and accessories.
Check it out today at the Toronto Eaton Centre.
