The Suicide Girls Blackheart Burlesque is Coming to Town

In case you haven’t heard, burlesque is a pretty cool way to spend your time, Marge Simpson and friends notwithstanding. In fact, if you’ve never been to a burlesque show, our own Anthony Marcusa has all the details about what it is, what to expect, how to act, and everything else you wanted to know about burlesque.

And what better place to put that knowledge into action (ya know, aside from one of the local shows he mentioned) than the Suicide Girls Blackheart Burlesque, touring Canada this fall. It’s basically a big pin-up girl meets geeky comic books and science fiction extravaganza, with acts paying homage to Adventure Time, Star Wars, a Clockwork Orange, and a whole bunch more. Oh, and this April, it’s travelling from Victoria to Montreal, hitting a dozen stops in between. Your time to shine, Kelowna.

Still not convinced? Well, here’s a trailer. We’d get tickets soon, though. We are given to understand that sexy women in lingerie and Star Wars are very popular.
