This is the 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale by Scaglietti. 320 hp. Block V-12 engine with six Weber 38 DNC carburetors. Five-speed manual transmission. Four-wheel upper and lower wishbone coil-spring independent suspension. It’s a pretty sweet car. Specifically, it’s chassis number 06701.
Why the specificity? Because only three of these were ever made—and it’s unlikely that the other two will ever be sold. If you want a 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale by Scaglietti, it has to be cassis number 06701, and you’ll have to buy it at Monterey. They won’t be taking internet bids, presumably because most multi-millionaires are happy to bid by phone.
