A Terrifying Spin on Pac-Man

If you wanted to describe the original Pac-Man game, you would use words like addictive and simple, easy going fun. Well, someone decided to make a game to see what the whole experience is like from Pac-Man’s point of view. The game is called FPS-Man and the results are terrifying.

Instead of having the entire level’s layout on the screen like in the original game, in FPS-Man you can barely see a few steps ahead of you. This creates a claustrophobic atmosphere where you are like a trapped mouse in a maze. Your P.O.V. also makes it easy for the ghost enemies to sneak up behind you, or for you to run into them while rounding a corner. In fact, run-ins with Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde become terrifying encounters where you try to escape, but end up backing yourself into a corner and getting caught. But when you get a hold of those power pellets, you are God.

Seriously, if you’re a fan of Pac-Man or survival horror games, check out FPS-Man here. We suggest playing it in the dark with the volume turned all the way up.

This is what FPS-Man looks like in action:
