Cola-Flavoured Wine

Cola does well with a lot of alcoholic spirits: whiskey, rum, vodka…the list can go on and on. But does the youthful energy of Cola work with the most demure of alcoholic beverages, wine?

Well a company in France thinks so and has produced Rouge Sucrette, a wine mixed with cola. According to The Telegraph, the beverage is made up of 75% grapes, with the rest being water, sugar and cola flavouring. Rouge Sucrette’s alcoholic content is 9% and will be unleashed on the French wine market next month.

If you’re still somehow wondering if this wine would be appropriate for a high class occasion, it costs $3.80 a bottle, so don’t try to bring it to any black tie affairs.
