Another Hemingway favourite, the Daiquiri is perhaps the Caribbean’s iconic cocktail. Invented at a bar called El Floridita in Havana, this is the original Cuban recipe, which is why we’re using Havana Club.
Ingredients
2 teaspoons of sugar
Juice of half a lime
Dash of maraschino liqueur
Crushed ice
2 oz. Havana Club
Directions
Fill your glass with ice, and then dump it into a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients, blend until sooth, and then pour back into your glass.
