Since we’re fans of premium tequilas, it’s only right to bring you a premium tequila cocktail. We used Don Julio for our pipe dream; use whatever you like, so long as the label reads 100% agave. Ideally, you should also make sure that your 100% agave tequila of choice actually has their own distillery and isn’t just a bottling depot. See? that’s why we stick with the Don Julio.
Ingredients
1.5 oz. tequila blanco 100% agave
.75 oz. smoked pineapple syrup
.75 oz. fresh lemon juice
Muddled ginger
Sea salt
Directions
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, smoked pineapple syrup, lemon juice, and muddled ginger. Shake well. Strain into a rocks glass rimmed with lemon juice and sea salt.
