Serving picky dinner guests? Let them sear their own damn steak. Granted, there are more positive, less misanthropic reasons to pick up a few SteakStones ($136), but that’s what we’d use it for—that, and throwing a fantastic dinner party.
Basically, you heat the lava stone in the oven, and then when you pull it out and put it in it’s cradle, it stays hot for nearly half an hour, letting you and your guests cook on its surface. It’s like the grill version of fondue, we guess.
