Last year, Guagua Productions made Ballplayer: Pelotero. What stared out as a documentary about why the Dominican Republic produces so many pro ball players turned polarizing when the team began exposing corruption, leading commissioner Bud Selig to speak out against it.
Now, they’re planning a follow-up documentary (and need money) about up-and-coming Miguel Sano, one of the most gifted players of his generation, as he starts his life in America and begins his professional career.
