It turns out Siri takes things very personally. It’s perfectly fine with you barking orders at it all day, but mention her competition, and she turns nasty.
For example, when a user says “Okay Glass” to Siri, she responds when several cutthroat remarks about Google’s latest invention, according to The Verge.
“I think that Glass is half empty.”
“Stop strapping me to your forehead, it won’t work.”
“I’m not Glass. And I’m just fine with that.”
These are just a few of the documented cases of Siri bashing her competition.
So is this a result of Siri being insecure or is she trying to poison our minds against Google with subtle (okay, not so subtle) remarks? We may never know. But maybe instead of a robotic rebellion wiping out humanity, they’ll be a robotic civil war that we can watch from the sidelines.
