Ace Frehley is renting himself out to newlyweds for a special weekend in October. The former Kiss guitarist can be your best man or walk the bride down the aisle for just US$6,000.
The Ace Frehley Wedding Experience will be offered at the Kiss Rock and Roll Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada, from Oct. 26-28. Frehley’s presence will coincide with his appearance at the Kiss Mini Golf in the same location.
The bride and groom have the following options: Ace can be the best man or he can give the bride away and walk her down the aisle during a wedding, vow renewal, or commitment ceremony.
The package includes a professional photographer, photo session, and digital rights to all images. In addition, the ceremony will appear on Facebook live, so friends and family can watch the big event no matter where they live.
The photo session will feature Ace’s actual guitar. Take-home goodies include a “so cool” wedding certificate, vinyl record, Kiss-themed wedding cake, poker chips, shot glasses, temporary tattoos, and a free game of Kiss mini golf. The couple can invite up to 10 guests to the ceremony.
Frehley’s newest album, Spaceman, is dropping on Oct. 19. The wedding experience and appearance at the Kiss Mini Golf are part of the promotion for his new music. Fans who aren’t getting married can attend a Q&A, photo, and autograph sessions at the mini golf.
Frehley was the lead guitarist of Kiss from 1973 until 1982. After leaving the band he launched a successful solo career before reuniting with the band in 1996 for a reunion tour. His latest solo album is named after his Kiss stage persona.
