If there’s two things Andy Warhol was known for, they were: 1) mass produced art, and 2) wearing converse sneakers with suits. Which was super cool before everyone started doing it.
Anyway, what better way to celebrate those little facts than for Converse to release this line of Warhol-inspired sneakers ($90)? Although, it’s weird that we’re calling this particular sneaker Warhol-inspired, since it’s only Warhol because Warhol recognised the art in the pop-culture graphics in something like a can of Campbell’s, but we’re still not calling this a soup-inspired sneaker . . . Andy Warhol, still making us think about art. And not soup.
