So, you say, what’s a sample sale? And aren’t sample sales for girls?
A sample sale is a sell-off of a clothing distributor’s sales samples, as well as overstock from the current season. It’s a golden opportunity to get the latest looks at a fraction of retail price. As for the “aren’t-they-for-girls” question, while most sample sales do indeed cater to women, there’s an enlightened fashion distributor who wants to give guys (yes, guys) great deals. (You can invite your girlfriend to join you, as they’ll have deals she’ll love too.)
