How to Get on Mars Time

For over two weeks, Scientific American blogger Katie Worth has been transitioning to Martian time. Each day she’s pushed back her bedtime by 40 minutes to simulate Mars’ 24.65 hour rotation (Mars is smaller than Earth so it rotates more slowly).

Her first entry reveals inspiration stems from NASA operation teams as well as these kids. By day 15, she’s downing cocktails at 7:30 A.M.

We could get used to Mars time.
