As every football fan knows, the 46th Super Bowl goes down this Sunday, February 5, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Maybe you can’t fly south to personally witness the New England Patriots play the New York Giants, but you can still round up your team and head out to watch the game. Billed as “the next best thing to being in Indianapolis” this mega-party will see 850 fans watching the game alongside NFL players such as Marcus Allen and T.J. Houshmandzadeh, with performances by the Seattle Seahawks Cheerleaders, and the Sheepdogs. Social 46 Super Bowl Party at Cento Notti
While serving primarily Italian dishes in the evenings, this pop–up restaurant in the Opus Hotel is known for their party–style Sunday “Social Brunches”. On Super Bowl Sunday they’ll be serving shared platters of game–day classics, pitches of beer, sangria and Caesars and sponsoring giveaways, the grand prize being a trip to Vegas. Sports and style? Down in the entertainment district of Vancouver, this spot is the favourite for many a sports event and they are celebrating the Super Bowl big time. Doors open at 10 am, so pace yourself; the game doesn’t even begin until 3:30 pm. Drink and food features all day including the 25 cent wing Sunday special as well as the requisite promo girls. Super Bowl Sunday Bucket List at Ensemble Tap
With 14 screens surround screens, 25 beers on the menu and some of the best pub food in town, football fans with discerning palates are sure to be seen at Ensemble Tap. With Super Bowl specials such as a bucket of four domestic beers for $15, their tap burger and lager at $18 and slow–braised pulled pork sandwich with red truck for $16, you can’t go wrong. Doolins and Cellar present Up and Down Super Bowl Party
With two venues (Doolins up and the Cellar down) boasting dozens of HD and projector screens, this is another option for those wanting more than just the basics.
