This week's assignment: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/activeassignment/discuss/72157622570559472/">Signs of the Season</a> <b>Assignment</b>: Signs of the Season Here in North America, it's autumn, but in Australia it's spring... So... get out there and show us images of things that identify the season where you are. You can focus on nature or on people - you choose. (Natural or man-made subjects are OK.) <b>Restrictions</b>: No fancy post-processing, just adjustments to exposure, cropping, etc. <b>Dare</b>: Make it black & white. <b>What it took</b>: The most entertaining part of shoot was getting believable steam to come up from the bowl. I tried filling the bowl with boiling water, but the steam was hardly visible on the shot. In the end I hid a steamer behind the medecine, cut a hole in the bowl and stuck the nozzle from the steamer into it. Lit by a flash at camera left bounced off the ceiling.
